Arwed has worked in the automotive industry since 1997. He is an SW engineer and has worked in the area of HMI SW for cars (Headunits, Fondunits, Instrument Clusters) for most of his career. He has worked in the R&D area of HMI tooling and framework development. At Harman he worked as an SW architect where he was in charge of developing the architecture of the framework which was used to create the HMI for the W221 S-Class Mercedes. In recent years he moved on from a technical career path, and now leads R&D development teams. At Luxoft he is responsible for multiple teams with a worldwide footprint. His current main focus (besides HMI Platform & Tooling) is safe rendering SW (according to ISO26262).
