Carsten Isert is the engineering lead for Android Automotive for Google in Munich, Germany. His team is working on a range of projects to augment the native infotainment experience in cars.
He is passionate about bringing innovations into cars and has given talks at events like TEDx Hongkong, TechCrunch Shanghai, and GMIC.
Before joining Google, Carsten worked as a Senior Research Director at Gartner in the automotive space and held various positions in the BMW Group, working on SW innovations like hybrid vehicles, navigation systems, autonomous driving and funding the BMW Technology Office China.
Carsten is holding a Computer Science degree from the Technical University of Munich.
