This presentation will cover Daimler Trucks’ next-generation Mobile VR HMI Simulator, designed to enhance both qualitative and quantitative user evaluation. Within the Fuso eCanter there is more capacity to create highly realistic virtual environments, offering a comprehensive view of a truck’s interface and design. The advanced toolchain allows for rapid adaptation of prototypes, a broader range of software testing, and the streaming of content into simulations. Additionally, we track both human and software factors to ensure a holistic evaluation. Automated transcription and AI-driven tagging of interview data further streamline our process, enabling us to iterate on prototypes in shorter cycles for faster, user-centered HMI development.
