Guido Meier-Arendt was born in 1964 in Frankfurt on Main, Germany. He studied psychology with a focus on ergonomics and traffic safety at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University of Frankfurt. After graduation, Guido Meier-Arendt took a position in 1992 as project manager for "Ergonomics" in the area of advanced development of "Information Systems" for a company then known as VDO Adolf Schindling AG. In 2004 he assumed the role of team leader for "Human Machine Interface" in the area of "Cockpit & Modules" and was responsible for the development and evaluation of driver information and driver assistance systems. In 2009 Guido Meier-Arendt was named "Principal Technical Expert Human Machine Interface" for Continental Automotive GmbH. Guido Meier-Arendt is leading a HMI development team at “Systems and Technology Advanced Development” in Babenhausen.
