After a PhD on radar imagery in low frequencies for military application at the National Board of research in aerospace, Laurette joined Renault in the Research department in 2003 to work on environment detection sensors. After a few years on the vehicle project to develope parking assistance sytems , she joined LAB in 2013. In this common research laboratory between Renault and PSA focused on road safety, she leads the driver behaviour team. Particularly involved in naturalistic driving studies, she is also president of the french delegation of ISO subcommittee 39 (ergonomics). She is part of regulation groups focused on definition of requirement for external HMI of automated vehicle as a human factor expert.
