Michal is also a senior consultant at Motor Transport Institute where he was the Head of Advanced Driving Simulators Laboratory prior to his current position at Robocar. Cognitive scientist and human factors expert in Technical Committees of International Organization for Standardization. He has a background in driving behavior studies, eye-tracking, driving simulations and machine learning applied in the automotive context. Michal obtained his PhD degree at the University of Warsaw in Cognitive Psychology and finished Management Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Robocar Technologies develops robotics solutions, artificial intelligence applications and tools for the automated vehicles. From the human factors perspective Robocar Technologies provides support in developing next generation solutions for in-vehicle sensing like driver state monitoring, gesture control and occupant detection. To develop these human factors solutions Robocar Technologies develops its own simulation tool for in-vehicle sensing based on the digital twin concept.
