Paolo Pretto is Principal Researcher and Research Strategy Manager for Human Factors and Driving Simulator at Virtual Vehicle Research in Graz, Austria. He holds a binational PhD in Neural and Behavioural Sciences. He has more than 20 years of experience in assessing human abilities and performance in real and simulated driving environments. He has coordinated several national and international research projects and authored more than 100 publications. His work is particularly relevant to the fields of Human-Machine Interface and User Experience in automated vehicles.
