Cognitive Ergonomics Engineer, Renault

Sabine Langlois has been an engineer at Renault since 1995. She has worked on the acoustics of powertrains, psycho-acoustics and sound quality for mechanical noises and HMIs, cognitive ergonomics for visual displays, autonomous driving and augmented reality. She was responsible for the LRA (“Localization and Augmented Reality”) project conducted at IRT System X, with Valeo, Renault and Oktal, from 2013 to 2017: http://www.irt-systemx.fr/project/lra/

The Pop in my Job: What drives me is to understand user’s needs, propose innovations to fulfill these needs, test the innovations with users and be surprised by the users reactions that do not fit with our expectations!
