In this talk, Samuel Wijk, HMI & UX Chief for Lynk & Co Design, will discuss the innovative sound branding strategy for Lynk & Co. The presentation will cover the objective of creating a distinct sound identity for Lynk & Co, addressing customer concerns about harsh and low-quality sounds, and developing a cohesive sound family to enhance auditory comfort. Wijk will delve into the philosophy and collaborative process behind the sound design, blending tradition with technology to create a unique driving experience. The talk will also outline the development process, including collaboration with specialists, competitor benchmarking, internal strategy development, in-house sound production, and rigorous testing and approval in China.
Samuel Wijk is a UX Designer/Design leader, educated at YRGO in Gothenburg. He has a diverse background from several different industries, at the same time giving him a broad base to stand on. Samuel has experience in training salespeople since his time as a district manager for Boxer. Has also worked with sales and personnel responsibility in stores. Also, as a salesman in outreach sales. Marketing in the form of graphic production and with responsibility for entire production lines. In addition to working as HMI Chief Designer for Lynk&Co Design. He's also a project manager within an organization that works to integrate unaccompanied refugee youths into the community with football as a tool. Samuel puts the customer/project in focus and aims to make all contacts very satisfied, is self-propelled, and knows what the best way is to handle his tasks. Has easy to make contacts and has very good social skills. He is happy to work in teams that pull in the same direction in a personal, knowledgeable, and humble way, where the team is more important than the self. He has always had an aim, structure, and ambitious attitude, but especially developed in the sports world at a high national level. Colleagues, executives, and customers see Samuel as a social person with a twinkle in his eye.
