Main takeaways:
Alan is a technical leader who is always eager to discover and apply new technologies and processes to solve novel engineering problems with my teams.
The product area I am responsible for is the intelligent and connected user experience at Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). This means using software and HMI in a connected ecosystem to understand each of our customers so that their experience has been tailored just for them. Before my current role, I was a charging system engineer at JLR and before that, I worked for a company in the field of super-high precision optics for telescopes. Due to the opportunities I've had to work in such a diverse range of projects I've had a chance to learn about UX definition, HMI development, systems engineering, software engineering, electrical/electronic design and delivery, metrology, and project management.
